Q: How did Finch Paper and The Nature Conservancy become partners?
A: Finch Paper and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) share a common goal of helping keep forests as forests. We began our relationship in New York’s Adirondack Region more than a decade ago when we worked with TNC to study the variety of plants and ecosystems on the forestland we then owned.

After building that relationship for many years, Finch Paper sold its 161,000 acres of forest to TNC in 2007, and TNC entrusted our foresters to continue to manage the land. TNC understands that responsible timber harvesting and healthy forest ecosystems can co-exist.

We are proud to use timber from TNC lands in our papers.
