A Day in the Park

There is nothing quite like time at the park, whether for a bit of solitude or a patch of afternoon sun to share lunch. It doesn’t take much to elevate your time at the park.

To get you there with speed, style and conscience.

Why not make it a picnic to talk about?

Preserve the memories, protect your camera.

Work. Sit. Love.

It seems that in every workplace there are those people who bedeck their workspace with festive regalia for each holiday. We admire spirit and appreciate fine things, though we sit on the mellower side of decorative preference. These desks are models we think can stand the test of time and seasonal embellishment.

Environmentally minded choice, this desk is made from reclaimed wood. A frugal FSC alternative.

Despite being called the “trig desk,” which brings up high school horrors, we are keen on this.

At a glance you know it’s pricey, but oh the sleek allure and promise of a tidy surface. The storytelling on the site is pretty slick as well.

We have chosen books simply for their cover, sometimes it’s the texture, other times it’s the design. This desk had us at its name Flatiron.

We often talk about white space (and white paper!) here’s a desk that considers space, taking up very little while offering a lot.

Lastly, there is IKEA, but how would we pick just one? Truth is, when we land at IKEA we find ourselves roaming the inifinite possibilities. This Fourth of July weekend we wish you infinite possibilities.

We mentioned this blog was intended to be a medley of things related to Finch Paper and design, correct? Today’s post is a derivative of the trees, not ours, but they’re trees and we like trees.

Some of the folks at Public School created a logo for a new label called Forest Family Records. It’s fun, green and involves trees.

Have you done anything interesting with trees? Finch Paper? Let us know and we may feature your work here.
